Plan Overview
How do Employers Dental Services (EDS) plans work?
Your employees will select a general dentist when they enroll. Before any treatment begins, they’ll discuss concerns and questions, and work with them to create a plan for achieving or maintaining good dental health.
If specialized care is recommended, our network of dental specialists offers members up to 25% off their normal office fees. No referrals are needed. Payment for any care or procedure is due at the time of service.
EDS plans also cover emergency care, including the temporary relief of pain, bleeding, and acute infection. The maximum allowable reimbursement for a dental emergency is $200, minus any member costs normally incurred for treatment.
Employers Dental Services, Inc., is a member of the Principal Financial Group®.
